Born in Canada of a French mother, Eric Connor grew up in Montreal. He studies the sciences at Concordia University. Anthropology fascinates him and opens his eyes to the world.
In 1993, acting becomes his new fulfillment. He plays in movies alongside John Malkovich, Peter Weller, Roy Scheider and Élodie Bouchez, in Roman Coppola's CQ. He also has the pleasure of being directed by Randall Wallace, Robert Hossein, Colin Bucksey… Workshops in singing, dance, Katputli puppetry (India), and film editing enhance his artistic capacities.
1994, his trips to Egypt and India are overwhelming experiences. He starts learning Arabic and exploring the world: North Africa, Middle East, Far East…all contribute to better his comprehension of humanity and spirituality.
2007, writing finds its way back into his life and marks a turning point in his existence. His passion for photography, filming and remarkable encounters nourish his new quest. He is one of the rare cinematographers to have ever filmed the Ezidis during their annual pilgrimage. The scourge of humanity is ignorance. The lack of Love is a direct result of it.

2024 - Qadri Sufi Samaa, an ethnographic documentary on an Islamic brotherhood. - Surviving the Witch, an ethno-ecological docu-fable on a paradisiac island. FHIFF 2024: Best Feature Documentary - Paracelsus Award
