Chiara Cavarzan is an Italian documentary filmmaker and visual artist. Her works are an ongoing exchange based on trust and self-discovery. She sees documentary as a therapeutic art form: by using both observational and participatory approaches, she aims to create compelling pieces that represent a valuable and nourishing experience to the contributors. The films and photo series she creates mainly focus on personal stories and social issues.
