<p>Africa is exploited for its wealth of minerals, essential for technological production. Speculation and waste pervade African lands and peoples, exposing a system of toxic and harmful supre- macism. In the midst of mountains of garbage, this film-manifesto is born: an indignant appeal to the world demanding accountability for the consequences of capitalism, colonialism and environmental destruction in Africa.</p>
<p>Kantarama Gahigiri is a Rwandan-Swiss writer and director born in Geneva. She explores themes of identi- ty, migration, and empowerment through projects filmed in both Switzerland and East Africa. Kantarama has participated in prestigious programs including <em>La Fabrique Cinéma</em> at Cannes (2019), <em>Berlinale Talents</em> (2021).</p>
