Storie di Pietre
2017. In the first construction site opened after the 2016 earthquake in central Italy, a group of restorers is working to secure what's left od the San Salvatore in Campi church, true pearl of Umbrian Romanesque style. In the mantime in Frascaro, district of Norcia, the people attempt to organize the patronal party, hoping to be able to hold, during the procession, a crucified Christ statue that was damaged in the collapse of the Sant'Antonio Abate church. In Spoleto, in the Deposito of Santo Chiodo, inaccessible and quiet place, some restorers of the Opificio delle Pietre Dure try to re-assemble their crucified Christ and a brutally damaged canvas coming from the same church in Frascaro. In the Preci area, not far from San Salvatore, a hermit lives isolated at thousands of metres of height, taking care of his hermitage, a building he made robust and apparently immune to the tremors that keep happening.
