Michele and Maria have spent eighty years of their lives as farmers. Today the harvest time takes them back to a seemingly distant past. Their sons have their own life and no one takes care of the fields as they would like to. The seasons are changing and it does not help them either.

Michele Sammarco was born in province of Padua where he lives and works. In his films, he explores traditions and practices of the rural world of his lands: Veneto and Apulia regions. He currently collaborates with the Oral History Laboratory of the University of Padua and is an expert trainer for the CiPS project - Cinema and Images for Schools.
