Synopsis

A world suspended between pristine landscapes and tales steeped in spirituality, where tradition and modernity coexist – and sometimes collide. At the center is the snow leopard, a rare and mythical feline, which sparks tensions in a nomadic Tibetan community: the younger generation, worried about their livestock, wants to kill it, while the elders still respect its sacred, symbolic value. Snow Leopard is a profound reflection on coexistence between humans and the wild, and also the spiritual testament of Tibetan director Pema Tseden, who passed away prematurely. His final work is a poignant trace of a disappearing world, imbued with beauty and quiet power.
