Gloria Civantos

Gloria Civantos is trained as an architect and worked professionally for twenty years in Europe and the USA. Five years ago, her love of storytelling and drawing led her to make animations for her children. Self-taught, she started making animations to recount unimaginable stories. These simple stories took on a life of their own and now she is an award-winning independent animator. Her work has been awarded in competitions and most recently was featured all over the world as part of Virgin Atlantic Airlines short film catalogue. She loves to do gymnastics and turn her imagination upside down. Collaborating with her children, she looks forward to many more poetic journeys.
