Synopsis

<p><em>Only a Child </em>is a visual poem created by over 20 animation directors under the artistic supervision of Simone Giampaolo, which gives shape and colour to the original words spoken by Severn Suzuki at the UN Summit in Rio in 1992, a child’s desperate call to action for the future of our planet.&nbsp;</p>

Biography and filmography

<p>Simone Giampaolo is an award-winning director based in London. In 2013, he graduated with distinction in Computer Animation Arts from the National Centre for Computer Animation in Bournemouth, UK. He has directed, from storyboard to animation, more than ten animated shorts, some of which have been shown at international film festivals. This has enabled him to gain notoriety and win awards. From January 2014 to January 2018, he worked as an animation director and CG (special effects) generalist in the commercial department of Blue-Zoo Animation (based in London), working on numerous projects for clients such as Cartoon Network, Disney, LEGO, Nickelodeon, Marvel, Lucasfilm and the BBC.&nbsp;</p>
