Synopsis
<p>In the dunes of the Sahara, a Jaima is the traditional Saharawi tent. Through the tea ritual, a woman takes us into the past and present of her people, persecuted and driven from their land. There are three teas she offers us: the first, bitter as life; the second, sweet as love; the third, sweet as death. Each tea tells us a story.</p>
Biography and filmography
<p>Francesco Pereira, born in Spain, moved to Switzerland at the age of 10. At 14, he made his first short film, from that moment on, he decided to further explore the potential of cinematic poetry. <em>Jaima</em> is his first film. </p>
