Synopsis
<p>Inner lines are the escape routes of soldiers in case of retreat, but they also indicate those who remain scarred by the experience of war. On the slopes of Mount Ararat, the scene of massacres carried out by Daesh, the director films spaces and faces, testimonies and stories of the atrocity of war.</p>
Biography and filmography
<p>Pierre-Yves Vandeweerd is a Belgian filmmaker, graduated in Anthropology and African Civilisations. Since 2011, he has worked as a programmer for the Les États Généraux du documentaire festival in Lussas. His films bring together forgotten wars and destinies, lost territories, incursions into the borders of reality and reason.</p>
