Synopsis
<p><em>Ingresso Animali Vivi</em> is a hybrid work of documentary and fiction, where the protagonist, the dog Bjork, is the only animal to have entered and exited alive from a meat-processing facility. Grubic creates a horror film atmosphere with the aim of stimulating the viewer’s conscience regarding the evident failure of the Anthropocene and the urgent need to reassess our speciesist position.</p>
Biography and filmography
<p>Igor Grubic is a multimedia artist and represented Croatia at the 58th Venice Biennale. His work focuses on contemporary and historical politics, with a particular emphasis on narrating the stories of minority communities.</p> <p></p>
