In a remote farmhouse, the life and story of a black ex-terrorist serving a life sentence is intertwined with those of other people: a horse trainer, a father who reunites with his daughters after many years, a crew from another generation, and the farmhouse owner. While waiting for the life-time prisoner to return to jail, they spend a season together.

Santabelva was founded in Milan in late 2018 as an artistic collective and as a system of resistance to the pressures of the metropolis. Sharing the life and spaces of Via Malaga, its members have developed feature and short fiction films, documentaries and international campaigns over the years.
