Synopsis
<p><em>Aralkum </em>is a cinematic kaleidoscope of a desert landscape that used to be a lake. The surreal flickering of the Aral desert transforms into the waves of the former Aral Sea. The sand becomes water. An old man becomes a fisherman once again.</p>
Biography and filmography
<p>Mila Zhluktenko was born in Ukraine. She studied at University of Television and Film, Munich. Her films have been screened at numerous film festivals.</p> <p>Daniel Asadi Faezi born in Germany. He studied at University of Television and Film, Munich and National College of Arts Lahore, Pakistan. Besides directing, he produces documentary and experimental cinema.</p>
